EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidenced based therapy that helps reduce distress linked to traumatic memories and stuck negative beliefs.

IFS Informed

Internal Family Systems can be a powerful way to explore different parts of you and gain a deeper understanding of your own system. You can discover more about why you have particular thought and behavioral patterns.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps reduce distress linked to traumatic memories and stuck negative beliefs. It’s especially helpful for issues like trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression—particularly when talk therapy alone hasn’t felt like enough.

EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (like guided eye movements or tapping) to gently activate both sides of the brain, nudging the nervous system to process and release painful experiences and stories that may still be stored in the body. Instead of staying stuck in “survival mode,” your brain gets the chance to reprocess unhelpful memories or messages in a way that feels safer and less overwhelming.

It’s a powerful tool for getting to the root of certain symptoms—whether that’s emotional overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, low self-worth, or physical tension linked to past experiences. Over time, EMDR can help reduce the emotional intensity of memories and shift long-held negative beliefs so you can respond to life with more freedom and resilience.

The process follows eight structured phases, which I’d be happy to explain more about during a consult call or once we begin working together.

I am an IFS (Internal Family Systems)-informed therapist and enjoy doing parts work with clients. Parts work looks at the different aspects of your internal world, like the parts of you that carry pain, the parts that try to keep you safe, and even parts that may feel critical or stuck. Sometimes these parts are in conflict, and that inner tension can show up as anxiety, depression, overwhelm, or confusion about your identity or direction in life.

This is especially powerful for people healing from trauma, navigating a faith transition, or working through the heavy, stuck places that come with depression. We'll gently explore protective parts that work hard to keep you from feeling pain—and we’ll also get curious about the deeper wounds they're protecting. I’ll help you get more connected with what IFS calls “The Self”—your most grounded, wise, and authentic inner core. That version of you is always present, even when it feels distant or out of reach.

Together, we’ll take a loving, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach as we get to know the parts inside you—why they show up, what they need, and how they can begin to trust healing is possible.
