I specialize in trauma-focused therapy, with an emphasis on how past experiences continue to shape how we think, feel, and relate in the present. Whether the pain comes from a single event or a buildup of ongoing life stressors, these unresolved experiences can leave us feeling anxious, stuck, or disconnected from ourselves.
Some of the people I work with are processing events like abuse, loss, or accidents. Others are navigating persistent effects of emotional neglect, relational wounds, high-pressure environments, or faith transitions. Regardless of the source, the common theme is how the past intersects with the present—making it hard to fully feel peace or be the version of yourself you’d like.
I use EMDR and IFS-informed therapy to help you gently explore and shift the patterns rooted in your past. As we create space for healing, the present begins to feel more manageable, grounded, and authentic—and meaningful change becomes possible.

53 minutes- Plan on 50 minutes of solid therapuetic work time and 3 minutes to debrief and schedule our next session.
Sessions do not go until the end of the hour. This allows me to use the restroom as needed and have a brief reset between clients so I can show up as my best therapist self.
It also helps sessions not overlap as I do not have a waiting room.

You get to choose! I am able to accommodate both.
In person sessions are at my office in South Jordan, UT.

As of June 2025 , all of my weekly slots are full. My goal is to help clients implement therapeutic techniques outside of sessions and be able to come in less and less. That being said, I’ll likely have 2-3 spots opening up in July.
Reach out to get on my waitlist or set up a free 15 minute consultation in the meantime. I’m happy to help.
-
Submit a contact form or send me an email. I will respond with an estimated wait time so you know I received your inquiry. I go down my wait list in order when a new spot opens up. In the meantime, we can still do a free 15 minute video or phone consult to make sure we are a good fit.

While I am in network with some insurances, some of my clients choose to opt out of using insurance and pay out of pocket. Here’s why:
When you use insurance, therapists are often required to provide a mental health diagnosis and submit detailed clinical notes to justify treatment. This means that your private information—like the reasons you’re seeking therapy or some details of sessions—may be accessible to your insurance provider. In contrast, self-pay keeps your care entirely confidential between you and your therapist.
Insurance companies can also conduct reviews or “claw backs,” where they later decide a session shouldn’t have been covered leaving you (as the client) to pay the cost unexpectedly. With self-pay, you know exactly what you’re paying for and why—there are no surprise bills or restrictions on the number of sessions you can have.
Finally, many clients find that investing financially in therapy creates a deeper sense of commitment. When you're intentionally choosing to prioritize your mental and emotional well-being, it often leads to more focused and meaningful work.
Whether you choose to use insurance or pay privately, I’m happy to talk with you about what feels right for your situation. The most important thing is that you get the care you need in a way that feels safe and sustainable.
